The Small Project Fund Beneficiary (hereinafter “SPF Beneficiary”) – the Agency of Regional Development in Ternopil Region acting on the basis of:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Chapter 4.3 of the <\/span>Manual for small projects in the Interreg NEXT Poland \u2013 Ukraine 2021-2027 Programme.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

appoints the Small Project Fund Committee (hereinafter \u201cCommittee\u201d) in order to select small projects and to carry out other tasks laid down in the Rules of Procedure of the Committee within the framework of the implemented Small Project Fund in the Interreg NEXT Poland \u2013 Ukraine 2021-2027 Programme.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The tasks of the Committee include:<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. a)<\/span> Adopt the Rules of Procedure of the Committee, including the provisions on the prevention of conflicts of interest and on the application of the principle of transparency, and amend them.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. b)<\/span> Approve the composition of the Small Projects Fund Committee and its amendments.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. c)<\/span> \u00a0 <\/span>Approval of the list of experts on the basis of the criteria set out in the Rules for the selection and work of experts.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. d)<\/span> \u00a0 <\/span>To appoint an Objections Panel from among the candidates put forward by the SPF Beneficiary in accordance with the provisions set out in the<\/span> Rules of Procedure of the Objections Panel<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. e)<\/span> \u00a0 <\/span>Selection of small projects for implementation according to the following rules:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    –<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>The Committee is informed of projects rejected on formal grounds and those not recommended as a result of the qualitative assessment.<\/span><\/p>\n

    –<\/span> \u00a0 <\/span>The Committee considers the projects recommended for funding by the Expert Panel and decides whether to select and approve them for implementation or to reject them.<\/span><\/p>\n

    –<\/span> \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>The Committee bases the selection of small projects for funding on the results of the qualitative assessment. However, it may also take into account additional factors or formulate additional conditions, and recommendations for small projects selected for funding, which will have to be met during the contracting phase.<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. f)<\/span> \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Vote on the grant application of an Applicant whose objections to the selection of a small project have been upheld by the Objections Panel in accordance with the Objections Procedure.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. g)<\/span> Approval of amendments to small projects where the Committee’s approval is required in accordance with the rules laid down in the Manual for small projects.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. h)<\/span> Review all issues affecting the implementation of the SPF and the remedial measures taken.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. i)<\/span> \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Analysis of progress in implementing the SPF and achieving its objectives.<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. j)<\/span> \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Oversee the efficiency and correctness of the implementation of small projects.<\/span><\/li>\n
    6. k)<\/span> Make recommendations to the SPF Beneficiary including on the reduction of the administrative burden for applicants\/beneficiaries of small projects, and monitor the follow-up.<\/span><\/li>\n
    7. l)<\/span> \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>To carry out tasks other than those mentioned above if this is justified in view of the purpose for which it was established.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The inaugural meeting of the Small Project Fund Committee for the “Environment” priority under the Interreg NEXT Poland\u2013Ukraine 2021\u20132027 Programme is scheduled to take place on 17 August 2026.<\/b><\/p>\n
