\"\u261d?\"<\/span>Within the Clusters4Regions initiative, three priority clusters and projects with the greatest potential for economic, environmental, and security impact on regional development have been identified in Ternopil region.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
These initiatives will receive further expert support, mentoring, and promotion at the national and international levels:<\/div>\n
\"?\"<\/span> “Generous Opillia”<\/div>\n
A cluster initiative in the field of agricultural processing, aimed at developing local value chains, fostering producer cooperation, and strengthening the economy of Ternopil region communities.<\/div>\n
\"?\"<\/span> “Western Ukrainian Defense Cluster”<\/div>\n
A strategic initiative for the development of defense technologies and R&D infrastructure that strengthens cross-sectoral cooperation and addresses key state security priorities.<\/div>\n
\"?\"<\/span> “Agro-Energy Cluster” (biomethane \/ bioenergy)<\/div>\n
A cluster initiative aimed at leveraging the region’s agricultural potential for renewable energy development; focused on developing tools to enhance energy resilience of communities and the region by increasing the share of green energy and creating new investment opportunities.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"?\ufe0f\"<\/span>The selected clusters will become priority development cases for Ternopil region and the foundation for forming a portfolio of regional projects within #Clusters4Regions<\/a><\/span>.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\"\u2139\ufe0f\"<\/span>As a reminder, the Clusters4Regions Initiative is being implemented at the request of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span> by the Swiss-Ukrainian project “Cohesion and Regional Development of Ukraine,” UCORD<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span>. Clusters4Regions will be implemented by the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span> in the pilot regions of the UCORD project: Sumy, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Volyn, and Odesa regions. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"?\"<\/span>Regional development agencies (RDAs) of the specified regions play an important role in implementing Clusters4Regions. This role involves supporting the creation and development of regional cluster organizations. In addition, RDAs will ensure proper connection of clusters with broader networks and alignment of their activities with regional and national strategies. <\/div>\n
