How to Prepare a Successful Project Proposal: A practical training session was held in Lutsk for potential applicants to the CrossEco Small Projects Fund competition under the Interreg NEXT Poland \u2013 Ukraine 2021\u20132027 program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The event was attended by representatives of local communities, educational institutions, civil society organizations, environmental agencies, and local government bodies interested in establishing joint Ukrainian-Polish environmental initiatives.<\/div>\n
During the training session, participants learned more about how to:<\/div>\n
    \n
  • prepare a project application in accordance with the requirements of the Interreg NEXT Program;<\/li>\n
  • develop a realistic and well-founded budget;<\/li>\n
  • work with the online platform for submitting project proposals (the Generator);<\/li>\n
  • take into account the project\u2019s communication component in accordance with the Program\u2019s requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Special attention was given to issues of cross-border cooperation, as partnership between Ukrainian and Polish organizations is one of the key requirements for participating in the competition.<\/div>\n
    During the meeting, Nataliia Strelbitska, head of the Project Management Department at the Regional Development Agency in Ternopil Oblast, emphasized that a high-quality application is not just a correctly filled-out form, but above all a clear project rationale, a tangible cross-border impact, and shared responsibility among partners for the outcome.<\/div>\n
    \u201cA successful project starts with an idea that addresses the real needs of communities on both sides of the border. That is why it is important not just to find a partner, but to develop a shared vision and achieve tangible results that will continue even after the project is completed.\u201d<\/div>\n
    Orest Sorokopud, Director of the Volyn Regional Development Agency, also addressed the training participants. He emphasized the importance of active participation by communities and organizations in the development of cross-border cooperation and the implementation of environmental initiatives in border regions.<\/div>\n
    He also noted that the Agency is a partner in the project and is ready to provide potential applicants with advisory support at all stages of preparing project proposals.<\/div>\n
    We would like to thank the Volyn Regional Development Agency for organizing the logistics of the event, as well as for its support and assistance in holding a workshop for potential contest participants.<\/div>\n
