How to Effectively Manage Infrastructure Projects in the Water Supply and Waste Management Sectors<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The team from the Regional Development Agency in the Ternopil region participated in a two-day training session for RDA project managers, which took place in Kyiv as part of the UCORD project. The training focused on key aspects of managing initiatives in the areas of water supply, wastewater management, and waste management #WASAW<\/a><\/span>. <\/div>\n
During the intensive workshop, participants worked on deepening the practical knowledge and skills needed to implement flagship infrastructure projects. The event\u2019s program covered key aspects of project management\u2014from the specifics of grant agreements, procurement procedures, and working with contractors to financial reporting, preparing payment requests, technical supervision, and engineering monitoring. <\/div>\n
Particular attention was paid to the role of regional development agencies as project managers, approaches to risk management, knowledge building and transfer, as well as establishing effective communication with communities, donors, and other stakeholders.<\/div>\n
The Regional Development Agency in the Ternopil region was represented by Deputy Director Volodymyr Pletyuk and Head of the Investment Support Department Tetiana Sydorko.<\/div>\n
Such events help establish uniform standards for managing infrastructure changes and bring project managers together into a strong professional network. The knowledge gained will help our Agency implement strategic decisions for communities in the Ternopil region even more effectively. <\/div>\n
