The team of the Regional Development Agency of Ternopil Oblast, together with the team of the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Oblast, took part in the pilot practical training \u201cData-Driven Regional Development: How to Use Data for Projects, Business Engagement, and Regional Development Management.\u201d<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n
The Regional Development Agency of Ternopil Oblast was represented at the training by Acting Director Natalia Strelbitska, Deputy Director Tetiana Demchuk, and Head of Communications Olesia Lypchak.<\/div>\n
The event took place in Odesa on September 3 at the\u2026 <\/div>\n
Ukraine Innovation Center i-APS Ukraine.<\/div>\n
The training was delivered by:<\/div>\n
    \n
  • Nadiia Zubchenko, National Director, i-APS Ukraine;<\/li>\n
  • Valerii Kolodub, Partnership Officer, i-APS Ukraine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    During the training, participants explored how to transform data from a routine reporting tool into a comprehensive resource for informed decision-making and management. The discussion covered: <\/div>\n
      \n
    • using data to prepare and substantiate regional projects;<\/li>\n
    • basic statistical tools for decision-making;<\/li>\n
    • creating and maintaining a regional business database;<\/li>\n
    • conducting market research and short business surveys;<\/li>\n
    • managing the Agency\u2019s project portfolio;<\/li>\n
    • assessing regional, institutional, and project risks;<\/li>\n
    • the capabilities of KAPtech for collecting, structuring, analyzing, and monitoring data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      Particular attention was paid to practical work. The teams of both Agencies identified processes that could be improved through the use of data and developed ideas for future pilot solutions. <\/div>\n
      \n
      For us, this is an opportunity to strengthen our approach to working with data and use it more systematically in our work with businesses, project development, and regional development planning.<\/h5>\n
