The ARD team in the Ternopil region visited the RDA in the Odesa region

On September 3–4, the team of the Regional Development Agency of Ternopil Oblast visited the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Oblast to exchange practical experience, expertise, and approaches to regional development.

During the meeting, the teams discussed the key areas of the Agency’s work, including investment attraction, business support, project implementation, grant activities, and cooperation with local communities.

Particular attention was paid to the experience of the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Oblast in the following areas:

• the work of the investment and project offices;

• support for entrepreneurs and the development of the business environment;

• attracting grant funding;

• working with local communities;

• European integration;

• commercialization of the Agency’s services and building an effective team.

Such an exchange is not only an opportunity to adopt successful practices, but also to look at our own work from a new perspective, identify areas for improvement, and find solutions that can be adapted to the needs of Ternopil Oblast.

An important part of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Oblast and the Regional Development Agency of Ternopil Oblast.

The document was signed by Natalia Strelbitska, Acting Director of the Regional Development Agency of Ternopil Oblast, and Serhii Kononenko, Director of the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Oblast.

The Memorandum provides for the exchange of experience, information, and best practices in the areas of regional development, investment attraction, entrepreneurship support, innovation, and digital transformation.

The parties also agreed to promote the development of business infrastructure and innovation ecosystems, support partnerships between local communities, government, businesses, educational and research institutions, and jointly organize forums, roundtables, training sessions, and informational events.

For the Regional Development Agency of Ternopil Oblast, this cooperation is an opportunity to strengthen its institutional capacity, introduce new tools to support businesses and local communities, and, at the same time, build strong horizontal ties between regions.

We exchange experience, strengthen our teams, and turn partnership into concrete opportunities for regional development.
