A working meeting of the Regional Development Agency team in Ternopil Oblast was held under the chairmanship of the head of Ternopil Regional State Administration Viacheslav Nehoda.
During the meeting, the main focus was on discussing the current state of the Agency’s activities until the end of the calendar year and resolving key issues.
Additionally, further steps were agreed upon to ensure timely completion of planned activities.
The progress of the grant agreement implementation within the framework of institutional support from the Swiss-Ukrainian project “Cohesion and Regional Development of Ukraine” UCORD was discussed, and challenges requiring prompt response were outlined.
Special attention during the meeting was given to the preparation stage for the implementation of the Interreg NEXT Poland – Ukraine Program. In particular, issues of action coordination, internal team readiness, and work plan formation were discussed.
As a reminder, the Regional Development Agency in Ternopil Oblast is the designated operator of the Interreg Program for Priority 1: ENVIRONMENT, goal 1.4 – promoting the transition to a circular and resource-efficient economy. The contracting process is currently underway.
As a result of the meeting, priority areas of the Agency’s activities for the near future were jointly determined with the RDA team, aimed at strengthening institutional capacity, effective implementation of international projects, and supporting the development of Ternopil region communities.
