The schedule of practical training sessions for applicants to the Small Projects Fund (Environment priority) has been announced

On April 24, Ternopil became the focal point for discussions on important environmental initiatives for the border regions of Ukraine and Poland.
During the kick-off conference, the CrossEco project (Integrated Solutions for a Shared Environment) – a Small Projects Fund under the “ENVIRONMENT” priority – was presented, opening up new prospects for cross-border cooperation. This event is of strategic importance, as communities will gain access to submit applications for funding for environmental initiatives under the Interreg NEXT Poland – Ukraine 2021-2027 Program as early as the first half of May.
During the event, potential applicants received information about the eligibility requirements, selection criteria, and key aspects of preparing project proposals. The conference was attended by representatives of national and local government bodies, international partners, civil society organizations, and experts from the Program area, among others.
The speakers’ presentations focused on current issues in cross-border cooperation in the field of environmental protection and the importance of establishing partnerships to implement joint initiatives.
The main goal of the CrossEco project is to engage residents in the program area in sustainable waste management, raise their environmental awareness, and implement practical solutions for waste separation and resource reuse.
The implementation of small but impactful cross-border projects will help improve the efficiency of waste management systems and introduce solutions that meet EU standards. The joint efforts of Ukrainian and Polish partners will serve as the foundation for developing sustainable environmental solutions.
