An export workshop for businesses titled “Export Connect: A Support System for Exporters in the Regions” was held in Ternopil

The workshop focused on the practical aspects of exporting—from developing an export strategy and selecting markets to customs procedures and requirements for entering European Union markets.

Entrepreneurs from the Ternopil region who are just starting to export, as well as companies that are already working with international partners, took part in the intensive program.

During the training, participants familiarized themselves with export support tools, learned more about national, international, and regional business support programs, and discussed how to assess companies’ readiness to enter foreign markets, as well as opportunities for further scaling and international cooperation.

The meeting also served as a platform for sharing experiences, establishing new professional contacts, and strengthening collaboration among entrepreneurs, experts, and business support organizations.

The training was organized by the Swiss-Ukrainian UCORD project in collaboration with the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development and the Regional Development Agency in Ternopil Oblast, with the participation of the Ternopil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in Ternopil Oblast, the Ternopil Oblast State Administration, and the Diya.Business entrepreneurship support center in Ternopil.

The event was held as part of the “Export Connect: Support System for Exporters in the Regions” initiative, which is being implemented by the UCORD project in collaboration with the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development.
