The Second Stakeholder Working Group Meeting in Culture and Creative Industries Took Place

The second stakeholder working group meeting in culture and creative industries took place, dedicated to the “Education, Skills, and Employment” direction.

The meeting was led by culture and creative industries expert Marichka Yurchak. During her presentation, she shared current statistical data on the development of culture and creative industries, particularly in the context of human capital, professional training, and labor market needs.

The meeting was attended by representatives of educational institutions, art schools, design courses and educational centers, youth organizations, businesses, government authorities, as well as mentors and cultural managers. Participants introduced themselves and discussed current challenges in human capital development in culture and creative industries, labor market needs, issues of developing modern educational programs, professional skills development, and employment opportunities in the region.

A separate session of the meeting focused on discussing the employment center’s opportunities for representatives of culture and creative industries. In particular, the director of Ternopil Regional Employment Center of the State Employment Service, Mykola Horodetskyi, informed participants about the employment center’s tools and the “Made in Ukraine” office, available training vouchers, as well as the “Own Business” grant program for creative industry representatives.

The working group meeting was initiated by the Institution “Regional Development Agency in Ternopil Region” as part of supporting the implementation of the cultural initiatives competition under the third component of the UCORD Project.

The Agency continues to establish a series of working groups as an open space for professional dialogue, coordination of efforts, and development of joint solutions to support cultural initiatives in the region.
