The first in a series of practical training sessions for potential applicants to the CrossEco Small Projects Fund (SPF) competition under the “Environment” priority was held in Ternopil as part of the Interreg NEXT Poland – Ukraine 2021–2027 Programme.
The event brought together representatives of communities, educational institutions, civil society organizations, environmental agencies, and local governments interested in developing joint Ukrainian-Polish environmental initiatives.
During the training, participants learned more about the practical aspects of project development: from generating ideas and finding partners to developing the project’s logic, planning the budget, and working with the application system.
Special attention was given to issues of cross-border cooperation, as partnership between Ukrainian and Polish organizations is a key requirement for participation in the competition. Participants had the opportunity to speak directly with the Agency’s team—a beneficiary of the Small Projects Fund under the “Environment” priority—to discuss their own ideas and receive practical recommendations on preparing competitive project proposals. The CrossEco competition supports initiatives in the fields of environmental protection, the circular and resource-efficient economy, and the implementation of modern solutions in waste management.
We would like to remind you that on May 5, the Regional Development Agency in the Ternopil region announced a call for projects under the Small Projects Fund, Priority 1 “Environment,” of the Interreg NEXT Poland – Ukraine 2021–2027 Program.
Applications will be accepted from May 5, 2026, through June 24, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (Polish time), exclusively in electronic form via a special system—the Generator—available on the website www.crosseco.eu
